MMI Medical Interview Tutoring – Clear, Supportive, and Exam-Focused
I am a friendly and patient MMI medical interview tutor with first-hand experience of the medical school interview process. I have received offers from Lancaster, UEA, and Newcastle, so I understand what medical schools are looking for at interview.
I enjoy tutoring because I like helping students build confidence and learn how to answer questions clearly, even under pressure.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I adapt each session to the student’s level and needs. Lessons usually include:
• Simple explanations of MMI station types
• Clear answer structures for common questions
• Practice MMI stations
• Honest, helpful feedback
I focus on key areas such as ethics, communication, teamwork, NHS topics, and role-play. I also highlight common mistakes and show students how to improve their answers to score higher.
My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I am always happy to repeat topics, practise tricky stations again, and adjust lessons to suit each student.
Having received great support during my own interview preparation, I am passionate about helping other students feel confident, prepared, and ready to succeed in their medical school interviews.
