About Andrés
Over the last 6 years, I have been tutoring Mathematics and Physics. In the last year and a half, I have specialized in online IB Physics and Mathematics tutoring, having tutored more than 10 students and over 500 hours. I have also mentored a student for Oxbridge interviews/personal statement and Computer Sciences exams. Furthermore, I am also familiar with the A level and GCSE syllabuses.

I am studying a PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics so I have a profound passion for Physics and Mathematics.I work very closely with the students and the parents to make sure I provide them with the type of lessons they require. Usually, they need either syllabus revision, exam preparation or both:
For revision, I make a revision plan of the strong and weak areas in consultation with the student and I decide the amount of hours to spend on each topic.
Exam preparation consists on practising past papers and exam technique in order to, on one hand, get used to the type of questions asked and on the other hand, to learn the tricks to get the maximum possible marks.
In general, I try to make my classes interactive, asking lots of questions and working with the student. In addition, I try to make the subject appealing by looking for videos/animations and interesting questions.
