About Sofia
I am passionate about education and I am even considering pursuing academia. I began my A levels in a new country in the middle of the covid pandemic. I was very demotivated and for some time did not think I was going to get to University. Through hard work and dedication and having the right teachers, I managed to leave a bad place and am now very happily studying Philosophy at The University of Edinburgh. I would love to help someone on their academic and personal journey.

Religious Studies:
I began this subject getting Es and D s and went from hating it to deciding to pursue Philosophy at University because of it. As such, I can offer a valuable insight into going from low grades to an A*.
The key in this subject is understanding the content well enough that you can write essays about it. Once the content is understood, writing essay plans or full essays is the best approach and I will always be happy to provide feedback. As often the content of this course proves quite dense, 1h lessons where we target key areas that need improving might be the best approach. However, I am happy to adapt to the students' timing preferences.
