About José
I am a 2nd year student of chemical engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico and I decided to give explanations, because it is something I feel comfortable with since high school. I have always helped my colleagues and friends with, above all, mathematics and physical chemistry and, now that I am in college, I feel even more capacity to help and explain. Since November 2020, I am the student responsible (monitor) for an online study room, in a program developed by the Academic Development Center of Instituto Superior Técnico. I hope I can help many students to have good grades in mathematics and physicochemistry, to achieve their goals of access to higher education and to understand the importance in our world of these subjects.

I approach the classes in a theoretical-practical way. It is important that, when introducing theory, the subject is complemented with some exercises and applications on it, so that the student consolidates what has been learned. The purpose of this approach is not to "drown" students in theory and to allow them to understand the importance of each subject and what will be requested from it.
