About Jacob
I am currently in my second year studying mathematics and sports science at Loughborough University while also competing for the university in the 100m and 200m sprint. After completing my A levels, I took a gap year in which I spent 8 months living in Canada where I worked full time as a ski instructor. In my spare time I travel around Europe, go to festivals and play sports.

I love a hands-on, example-heavy approach to maths and physics as I believe it’s much easier to learn subject knowledge when applied to questions. Looking at real-world examples tends to be more engaging and thought-provoking than learning “boring” theory. I feel I would be an ideal tutor for 14-18 year olds studying maths and physics as I recently completed my GCSEs and A levels so I understand what examiners are looking for and the best techniques for easy marks.
