About Baani
I am a 2nd year student at the University of Melbourne with a strong interest in education, child development, and helping young learners gain confidence. In the future, I hope to work in international development and community-focused roles where education plays a central part in creating opportunities. Teaching is important to me because I genuinely enjoy supporting children, encouraging their curiosity, and helping them grow at their own pace. After tutoring students through Teach For India and working closely with young kids as a babysitter, I realized how much joy I find in helping someone understand a concept and feel proud of themselves. I want to teach because every lesson is a chance to make learning feel safe, supportive, and exciting for the student.
