About West
The human voice is a sensitive instrument that requires consistent care to sustain long performances. Vocal health remains the absolute foundation of everything we do in our time together.
We work through breathing control and belting techniques to ensure you can sing safely for years. I incorporate monthly performance recordings which we review together to track your stylistic growth in real time.
My 19 years of experience helps me simplify complex phrasing and vibrato control for every genre. We focus on building your confidence so that you feel prepared for any exam or stage. This systematic approach prepares you to sing with clarity and power.

Working with busy professionals and teens, I often think about the courage it takes to open your mouth and sing. My path took me from music studies in Mexico to professional stages across the US for 22 years. Because I hold a BMus from the University of Miami Frost, I balance technical vocal health with the raw energy of performance.
I enjoy helping beginners find their head and chest voice, or assisting working performers with microphone technique. My background in the pop and musical theatre circuits keeps our sessions grounded in the reality of stage performance. I promise to keep our sessions focused on your unique sound rather than a generic ideal.
