About Ernest
You likely want to bridge the gap between knowing chords and actually writing compelling songs. It helps to know that I have guided 339 students through their personal musical development.
I spent 10 years writing and recording music which allows me to offer specific advice on your rhythm guitar playing. We can tackle grade exam prep or focus on the nuances of improvisation and soloing to make your lead lines sing.
My approach combines the theory I learned at Belmont University with practical, real-world application. I have seen how effective a simple strumming pattern change can be for a struggling songwriter.
Teaching is my primary craft and I love watching students find their own voice on the fretboard. My goal is to make sure you never feel stuck in a creative rut. I am here to help you own the stage.
