About Rodrigo
My name is Rodrigo, I’m a Spanish 20 year old student and to be frank, the reasons I would like to teach are somewhat selfish. In the past, I often helped my younger brothers with their science or maths homework or helped them prepare for an exam, and I’ve come to realize there are few things as satisfying as helping someone understand or do something they thought nearly impossible 30 minutes earlier. The other reason I would like to teach is so I can afford to travel around Australia during the months i’m here, as well as learn how to surf.

I consider myself knowledgeable in several fields related to Data Science, including maths and statistics, programming (primarily Python) as well as logic, set theory and linear algebra. I come from a very multicultural background and have experienced many different ways of teaching, and I’ve become especially fond of the learn-by-doing method. I prefer this method as it makes you stop and actually think about the best way to solve the problem you’re faced with, which will train you for solving problems you haven’t seen in a class textbook before in the future.
