About Miranda
Hey! I'm Miranda, a third year bio-med student at the University of Guelph! I have been super successful GPA-wise throughout my undergrad and I just took the MCAT in August and scored really high! I will be applying to medical school next cycle.
I love to help other students learn and I am eager to get them to feel fully confident and stress-free going into tests and exams. I have experience tutoring high school students in grade 11 and 12 biology, chemistry, and math courses.

My tutoring style is all about making things clear, stress-free, and actually make sense. I focus on helping you understand the why behind things, not just memorize steps or concepts. This has been the base of my own success as a student.
What makes me different is that I teach how to approach questions, avoid common mistakes, and think the way exams expect you to. I also make sure you feel comfortable asking anything, even if it seems small.
In my lessons, I usually start with a quick check-in, go over key ideas together, then work through practice problems or situations. I keep things interactive so it never feels like a lecture and so I can see where you are truly at.
My lessons are for high school and university students, especially in science and math-heavy courses like biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and stats, especially Guelph courses.
