About Anya

I am a current third year Biomedical Science student, with plans to complete my Masters in Science through Research in Microbiology following graduation of my bachelors.

I have had my fair share of experience in academia, and it isn't always easy!
I myself have used tutors during my time in school and I've learnt the importance in seeing someone who you feel comfortable with, who understands the pressure of exams and has recently gone through them themselves.
But I strongly believe that confidence is what is key to ensuring success in your studies.
I have always found joy in helping others succeed which is why I would love to continue to do that while I finish my degree.

About the lesson

Using the curriculum and the exam specification, I create lessons to ensure students have everything they need to make progress in their lessons at school and in preparation for exams.

Finding the study techniques the student is most confident in is essential to me so they can continue the skills learnt when entering further education.

Lesson lengths can vary for what the student needs, but typically an hour is perfect to get content learnt and ensure the knowledge learnt is applied and the student leaves the lesson confident in themselves

I have gained experience tutoring over the years during my time doing my A-Levels and also currently during my degree, being the course representative.

I'm more than happy to help people at any level within academia, I help younger students taking their SATS in all their subjects they do and also GCSE students in English language, Physical Education but mainly Biology and Chemistry.
