About Alizwa
I am Alizwa Mngqeta, currently studying Civil Engineering at the University of Cape Town. I am from Butterworth, a small town in the Eastern Cape, I have been living in Cape Town since 2019 when I started university. I matriculated in 2018, with 2 distinctions in Life sciences and physical sciences. I went to Butterworth High School in the Eastern Cape. An interesting fact is that I currently play in the first team at UCT rugby. I am excited to go on this academic journey with you and assure you that I will do my best to prepare and deliver lessons that will be clear to understand.

I offer interactive lessons which include the use of illustrations that will help make understanding topics easier. I aim to inspire a genuine interest in these subjects because the more you enjoy them, the easier they become. My teaching will involve in-depth explanations and questions to test understanding.
A typical tutoring session will consist of firstly going through a section you may have come across that is proving to be hard to understand. Followed by going through questions that consist of that section. We would then go over past papers to polish our understanding.
My lessons are aimed at students from Grade 9 to Grade 12. I am comfortable tutoring in English and IsiXhosa.
