About Yuzheng
Before university, I studied in China and had been exposed to mathematics since primary school. In high school, I picked science. While studying at school, I noticed that many classmates didn’t like science subjects—not because math or physics is inherently difficult, but because they hadn’t figured out the right logic or direction for thinking through problems. Mathematics is a subject that uses symbols as its language. Every formula is a sophisticated tool designed to solve complex problems related to "measurement." As long as one understands the underlying logic behind a formula, even the most difficult problems can be broken down into smaller logical steps and solved. Physics is about predicting the future—given certain known information (such as position and velocity), we can use physical laws and equations to infer an object’s future state. It’s a subject that uses the language of mathematics to describe the world, and that should be exciting. The way I understand knowledge is by explaining it clearly to myself. If I get stuck or don’t understand how a conclusion is reached, I go back to the textbook to find relevant clues. The key to learning lies in understanding and practice—you have to play with the knowledge and try things out for yourself in order to develop genuine interest.

Since I am also a student, I have the ability to help others understand abstract concepts and build a logical thinking framework. I can clearly explain key points and common pitfalls in exercises. The length of each lesson depends on the student's attention span. My university major is Civil Engineering, and during holidays I often read books on quantum physics and mathematical methods in physics. I am able to tutor mathematics, physics, and chemistry at the high school level or below, as well as first- and second-year civil engineering courses at the university level.
