About Arjun
Hi, I am Arjun, and I am a 3rd year undergraduate maths student at the University of Warwick. Choosing to study maths was an easy decision for me since it’s a very diverse subject with a lot of intriguing problems and its numerous applications to the real world. After my degree, I intend to do a masters and a PHD to delve deeper into maths. In my free time I am enjoy playing chess competitively and play for Warwick University.

I try to take an analytical approach to tutoring by finding out my student’s strengths and weaknesses as well as their needs and tailor my lessons accordingly. Having had over 4 years’ experience sitting exams, my exam technique has been refined. Furthermore, I have picked up the most effective learning strategies, enabling me to convey this to my students.
During my sessions I will place a large emphasis on practice problems and past papers since the optimal way to learn maths is by solving a lot of questions. When possible, I will draw a lot of diagrams since its usually the most efficient way to explain a maths concept. I will also try to get my student to solve any questions they are stuck on by giving them hints rather than spoon feeding them with the solution. With each lesson I will also give a brief recap of what we went over last lesson to aid in memory of these crucial concepts.
