About Jayne
Hi, I’m Jayne, a 3rd year medical student and IB graduate with a score of 41. I understand first-hand the discipline, organisation and exam strategy required to achieve strong academic results, and I bring that experience into my tutoring.
As a medical student, professionalism, reliability and clear communication are extremely important to me. I prepare thoroughly for each lesson and ensure sessions are organised, focused and productive.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand things that once felt difficult or overwhelming. Throughout my own academic journey, I realised that the biggest difference between struggling and succeeding was often having someone explain a concept clearly and patiently. I want to be that person for my students.
I also find it incredibly rewarding to see a student’s confidence grow, especially when they begin to solve problems independently or improve in areas they once found challenging. Academic success is not just about intelligence; it is about strategy, consistency and mindset. I enjoy helping students develop those skills.
For me, tutoring is more than just improving grades. It is about building confidence, resilience and long-term learning habits that will benefit students beyond a single exam.

Hi, I’m Jayne, a 3rd year medical student and IB graduate (41 points), and I aim to make learning structured, efficient and confidence-boosting.
My approach to tutoring is highly tailored to each student. I focus on building strong foundations first, making sure students truly understand concepts rather than just memorising content. Once the basics are secure, we move on to exam-focused practice using past papers, mark schemes and targeted exam techniques.
Lessons typically last 1–2 hours, depending on the student’s focus.
I have been tutoring online for the past year, working with primary and secondary school students. I am comfortable teaching younger learners who need support building confidence, as well as older students preparing for important exams such as GCSEs or IB.
My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel more confident, organised and capable in their learning.
