About Umer
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students make sense of subjects that can seem tricky at first. Maths and Science don’t have to be intimidating — with the right approach, they can actually be fun and rewarding to learn. Tutoring gives me the chance to share my enthusiasm for learning and help each student reach their goals in a way that works best for them.

I offer personalised tutoring for GCSE and A-Level Maths, Chemistry, and Biology, designed to help students build confidence, master key concepts, and excel in exams. My lessons focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and exam technique, using past papers and tailored practice to strengthen understanding. Each session is adapted to the student’s learning style, ensuring a supportive and engaging experience. Lessons typically last 60 minutes. I am a third year medical student at Imperial and achieved A*A*A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry A level. I have been teaching for 3 years and have helped students improve their grades and deepen their understanding of science and maths. I work with GCSE and A-Level students at all ability levels, whether you’re aiming to boost confidence, bridge knowledge gaps, or achieve top marks.
