About Paris
I am a third year medical student at the University of New England.
I have been tutoring for 3 years since graduating highschool. During this time I have worked with students from year 1 all the way to HSC level. The majority of these lessons were conducted over Zoom so I have lots of experience with online learning. Many of the HSC students, with whom I worked very closely, saw great improvements including multiple top ranks for tests and assignments.
I graduated in 2020, so I have been through and learnt the new syllabus myself. In the HSC I achieved the top ATAR in my school of 99.35

Lesson content is tailored to the student's needs. This can mean working in-time with class content to solidify ideas and fill gaps in knowledge, or learning ahead, helping students through 'priming' and maximising time for revision at the end of the year.
I think the best teachers are those that genuinely enjoy the subject themselves. If I don't think the subject is interesting, how can I convince a student to engage for an hour lesson? My own enjoyment of maths will help set the tone for the lesson.
Something I like about maths is that you can't just memorise, like other subjects. Maths is all about problem-solving - understanding and then applying. With strong foundations, I believe anyone can excel!
Lessons are conducted online over zoom and are typically 1hr in length.
