About Ryan
I don't only want my students to learn the material, I also want them to see the things from a new perspective. With my background in Physics/Math and having kept a close eye on teaching styles from previous professors, I am confident in my ability to help students succeed.

As a Physics major, math has become a secondary, if not primary language for me. But it wasn't always like that. I, too, struggled with math in my high school years which I now see as an advantage in being a tutor. I can relate to my students more than other math tutors which gives me the ability to better adjust my approach. This is also where my passion of seeing my students succeed comes from. I want to give my students the opportunity to finally succeed in mathematics. The subjects I give lessons for are Physics I, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, and Calculus BC.
I will curate my teaching style and pace to match what each student finds most comfortable. A generalized lesson plan looks like the following:
1. Discuss the fundamentals of each topic.
2. Practice problems and go over the multiple helpful strategies that can be used to solve each question
3. Discuss real-world applications to gain a better intuition (if appropriate)
4. Have the student summarize what they have learned
5. Answer any final questions
