About Rachel
I'm a third-year Primary Teaching student at DCU with teaching and substitute teaching experience in both English-medium schools and Gaelscoileanna. Having attended a Gaelscoil myself, I understand both the challenges and rewards of learning through Irish, which helps me support students in a patient and encouraging way.
I have a real passion for the Irish language and have spent time in several Gaeltacht areas, allowing me to develop both my fluency and appreciation for the language. I enjoy helping students build their confidence and make learning Irish a positive experience.
I offer one-to-one grinds for primary school pupils and Junior Cycle students, with each lesson tailored to the student's individual needs. Whether the goal is to improve confidence, strengthen grammar and spelling, prepare for exams, or develop spoken Irish, I aim to create engaging and supportive lessons that help every student reach their potential.
