About Thomas

I am currently in engineering school at Telecom SudParis, which I integrated after obtaining a bac S with very good distinction and two years in preparatory class.
At the same time, I gave support lessons to groups of college students (6 to 12 students) at the Brel-Brassens social center in Evry-Courcouronnes during my years in school.
I am also moving towards a career as a high school math teacher once I have obtained my engineering degree.

About the lesson

PRESENTATION:

Passionate about mathematics and pedagogue, I offer courses in Mathematics as well as Physics-Chemistry from middle school to high school, whether for support, to help a student in "dropping out" or just accompanying a student who wishes to progress in these subjects.

METHODOLOGY:

My methodology is broken down into two parts: exploration of the course, explanation of key points, all with examples because often math courses can seem a little abstract if we does not add a meaningful example. The idea is to make the student an actor of his understanding, by asking him questions to check if everything is well integrated before moving on to the exercises.
Once the course is well assimilated we move on to exercises, increasing in difficulty until the course has no more secrets for him.

PROCEDURE:

The first free course is used to get to know the student, and to check that the offer corresponds to his needs. If all goes well we can set up a first course, then regular interviews because without constant follow-up private lessons have much less impact. [NOT]
