About Nikhil
Enthusiastic Tutor who spent 2 years maths and English teaching at Kumon and 2 further years tutoring private students maths, English, business studies and geography. I cater all sessions to the individual student as I understand each student has his/her own unique way of learning. I am currently in my final year at the University of Nottingham studying management.

My students come from a broad profile spectrum. I've worked with many different age groups, from kindergarten to university. I understand that every child is different and hosts different strengths and weaknesses and thus I adapt my teaching approach accordingly. I am indefinitely patient and explain things in different ways until an understanding is reached. My extensive experience tutoring since I was 15 at KUMON until present day tutoring privately means that I believe I can truly provide excellent understanding and teaching to my students. I hope to take students on a journey and help them improve their ability paired with their confidence as I believe confidence in your work improves performance. I will teach using an easy to understand approach and multiple examples to ensure knowledge doesn’t go in one ear and out the other but is soaked in.

Nikhil is a kind and caring tutor who was already happy to explain things over if I didn’t get it the first time. He made me feel much more confident in my abilities and helped me improve my maths abilities from a grade 4 to a grade 7 at GCSE. I have continued to learn from him during my first year of A Levels and feel at ease during my lessons with him. He has not only been an amazing tutor but such an important mentor to me as well!
