About
I am recently retired from full time teaching. I taught for 34 years in public and private middle and high schools in Maryland. I then spent 15 years teaching at a community and technical college across the river in West Virginia. My students there were high school students and adults.
I have had so many of my students over the years thank me for somehow communicating math to them in a non-threatening way which reduced their math anxiety. I am a lifelong math educator who cares about the individual student and not just the subject. I am outgoing and I even make mistakes which I readily “own up” to. This makes my students relax and see that “math geeks”can be easy going too!
