About Bob

I'm coach to over 50 PGA Tour, Champions Tour, LPGA Tour players and "Top 100" USA golf instructors, and now available to everyday golfers in the greater Hilton Head Island/Bluffton/Savannah area. Lessons by appointment only at Hilton Head National Golf Club in Bluffton.

My enjoyment comes from students enthusiasm to learn, and their satisfaction and gratefullness in improving through my experiences in learning from, and teaching the best instructors and players in the world.

I have loved and played golf for over 60 years, and started because I enjoy sharing my experences and knowledge to improve the abilities of others who play and enjoy this great game.

I began caddying at the age of 13, and later caddied on the PGA Tour, the LPGA Tour, the Champions Tour including many Major Championships. I have studied the game extensively, and time on tour learning from the best in the world has allowed him to become a coach to more than 50 Top 100 golf instructors, PGA Tour, Champions Tour, Korn Ferry Tour and LPGA Tour players. I am now an instructor/coach for everyday golfers, and I've invented a revolutionary, inexpensive putting tool hailed for its simplicity and effectiveness for teaching and learning putting.

About the lesson

I do a skill assessment of current abilities and discuss student goals and expectations. This allows us to determine the most compatible improvement program which will be different for each student.

I have worked with tour players, beginning golfers and those inbetween with equal success.

Choose someone who will teach you the basic skills, how to improve those skills and manage your game while playing.

One of my intermediate students just broke 80 for the first time. Another more accomplished senior student just won a tournament shooting 69, 70, 67, and 64 winning by 7 shots.
