About Robert
I’ve been teaching golf for more than 15 years and currently serve as the Director of Instruction at Springfield Golf & Country Club in Northern Virginia. I’m a PGA Professional and coach over 1,200 private lessons each year, along with multiple junior and adult programs. My background includes years of player-development work, on-course coaching, and training with modern teaching tools like launch monitors and video analysis.
What I enjoy most is helping players make real, lasting progress. It’s rewarding to take someone from frustration to confidence, whether they’re brand-new to the game or chasing competitive goals. I give clear explanations, diagnose issues quickly, and build simple practice plans that fit into your schedule.
What sets my instruction apart is the structure and accountability I bring. Every student gets a plan, not random tips. We focus on the fundamentals that matter, ball-flight laws, and cause-and-effect so you understand why your swing does what it does. I also run full development pathways for juniors, along with adult academies, short-game schools, and winter simulator training.
