About
Piano Lessons in Williamsburg, VA – Meet Linxi
Hello! My name is Linxi, and I am a professional piano instructor based in Williamsburg. I am currently accepting new students for long-term, stable piano study.
About Me
University Faculty: Currently teaching at William & Mary; formerly a faculty member at North Carolina Central University (2015).
Professional Credentials: Active member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and an experienced piano competition adjudicator.
Experience: With over 10 years of teaching experience, I am known for my patience and my ability to connect with students of all ages.
A Versatile & Comprehensive Curriculum
I believe in a well-rounded musical education that goes beyond the notes on the page. My lessons include:
Classical Piano: Building a rigorous technical foundation and exploring the masters.
Pop & Contemporary: Learning to play by ear, understanding chord charts, and mastering lead sheets.
Keyboard Skills: Practical skills for students who want to accompany themselves or play in a band.
Theory & Artistry: Integrating music theory and creative expression into every lesson to build "complete" musicians.
Flexible Format: Lessons are available in person and online.
