He brings over 25 years of teaching experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa, along with a master’s degree from the Gnessins Music Academy in Moscow and studies at École Normale Supérieure de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot. He received the full-tuition Yevgeny Kissin Award for Professional Studies at the Manhattan School of Music. A long-time professor at NYU Tisch School, he has presented guest lectures and masterclasses at institutions including the Manhattan School of Music, University of Texas at Austin, Waseda University, and others worldwide. As a performer, he has appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Salle Cortot, Cadillac–Shanghai Concert Hall, and Tchaikovsky Hall across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
