About Alexis
I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, but decided to get my certification to teach elementary education in the state of Louisiana instead. I’ve always loved tutoring and teaching, so I wanted to pursue it as a career. I thoroughly enjoy educating the next generation and get just as excited as the students when I see that inner light bulb light up when everything starts to make sense!

I have experience with elementary/middle school students, but can help with all ages. I have taught the same subjects for a few years, so I have really mastered the grade level standards. Multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, intro to geometry, algebra, the solar system, ecosystems, energy, earth’s processes and spheres, and atoms and molecules are my speciality.
Along with teaching grade-level content for a variety of grades, I can also teach students how to study, different test-taking strategies, and how to plan out classwork, such as projects, homework, and day-to-day assignments.
