About Jan
4th Year Postgrad at the University of Manchester studying Maths and Physics master's degree programme. Completed 1st year Computer Science course before switching to Maths and Physics. Achieved A*/A grades in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science A-levels and similar GCSE results. Accordingly, I know what it takes to get top grades, and am committed to helping others do the same. I’m passionate in everything I do, not just my academics. I play the saxophone, football, cricket, Mtb and am involved in many more activities. My main goal is to be a part of the research in advancing our civilisation to a Star Wars-like era.

Jan is the greatest tutor I have encountered!
All my life I’ve had trouble with math and a lot of tutors that didn’t quite explain the world of math in the unique and thoughtful way that Jan does.
I recommend him to anyone that has math difficulties and also for those who enjoy math and wish to practice.
When I started out the tutoring lessons I disliked math, thanks to Jan I’ve learned so much about math that I’ve began to really appreciate it. I’ve reached some amazing and improved results at uni and at work, and it all is because of Jan’s patience and infinite knowledge! :)
Jan is an excellent tutor. He’s very knowledgeable and user friendly. He’s very good at focussing on difficult areas and building the self confidence to make them so much easier, which should lead to significantly improved results. The lessons are enjoyable too!
