Hi! I’m Mary Rose, a 4th-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics student. I believe that learning mathematics becomes easier when students understand the ideas behind the formulas instead of simply memorizing them.

My teaching approach is student-centered, patient, and interactive. I adjust my explanations based on each student’s learning level and pace. I use simple examples, step-by-step solutions, visual aids, guided practice, and real-life applications to make mathematical concepts easier to understand. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain their own solutions so I can identify areas that need improvement.

A Typical Lesson:
A lesson usually begins with a short review of previous topics and a quick assessment of what the student already knows. I then introduce the new concept using simple explanations and examples. After demonstrating the solution step by step, I guide the student through practice problems before allowing them to solve similar problems independently.

At the end of the lesson, we review the key ideas, correct mistakes, and identify areas that need more practice. I may also provide additional exercises to help strengthen the student’s understanding.

What Sets Me Apart:
As a future mathematics teacher, I combine my academic knowledge with practical teaching strategies developed through my education studies. I focus not only on getting the correct answer but also on helping students understand why the answer is correct. I am patient with mistakes and create a comfortable learning environment where students can build confidence in mathematics.

Who My Lessons Are For:
My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high school, and senior high school students who need help understanding mathematics, preparing for assessments, completing practice exercises, or strengthening their foundational skills. I can adapt lessons to the student’s current level, specific topics, and individual learning needs.

My goal is to help every student become more confident, independent, and comfortable with mathematics.
