About Gabriella

I am a fourth year medical student at Hertford College, Oxford, and have tutored a wide range of home and international students in my chosen subjects over several years, getting fantastic results!
Several of my students have made it into their chosen degree courses, including several Oxford medics!

About the lesson

For biology, I think the specification is an under-utilised tool for learning what examiners are looking for. This, alongside working through past paper questions and going through the mark schemes together, is a solid way to cover all bases for the student. Lessons may feature a recap of the last week, then half an hour of learning and discussing content, followed by some questions done together, with increasing focus on the student, and then maybe some homework questions.

With admissions testing, the format will be roughly similar.
Personal statements are often discussed alongside current relevant medical events, suggestions given of current studies, and then edited together using a Google doc
