About Katie
I am a fourth year medical student currently intercalating in Psychology and so with this, I have spent a LOT of my time learning and a lot of time developing my own learning strategies and hope that these are useful for other students through tutoring sessions. As a student myself I understand the mixture of pressures and hope to be a relatable tutor. Being able to use my own experiences and knowledge, I really enjoy organising lessons and teaching whilst keeping it relaxed and friendly environment. I hope to help students feel confident in their knowledge and be able to provide a reliable and supportive service.

As a tutor I like to personalise the teaching methods to the student and enjoy making lessons interactive with chance for reflection on what has been learnt and applying knowledge with questions. I produce lessons to fit the learning objectives specified by students and break down complex concepts, building in complexity as the lessons progress. I have previously worked as an A level Maths, Chemistry and Biology teacher and also taught medical students in younger years. I am available to teach any age group up to undergraduate level.
