About Dheya
I am a fourth-year medical student with a deep passion for teaching because I understand struggle firsthand. I was once a student who needed belief, guidance, and the right push to reach my potential—and that support is what helped me gain the confidence to pursue medicine. My love for teaching began in Matric when I taught Life Sciences to underprivileged adult Matric rewrite students, many older than me, who went on to perform well. This experience shaped my ability to work with learners of all ages, backgrounds, and academic levels. As a tutor, I bring a human, relatable approach: I am kind, patient, and motivating, but also firm and disciplined. I push students to work hard, stay accountable, and grow—without breaking their confidence. My lessons are tailored, energetic, and exposure-based, using customized worksheets and repeated practice to ensure real understanding and lasting improvement.

I’ve helped a wide range of students, including those facing language barriers, improve dramatically—raising marks from 30% to 80% and from 80% to 90%.
