About Brendan
I am in my final semester of medical school and will be graduating this May with an MD with special distinction in basic and translational medical research. I also have a bachelor's degree in cellular and molecular biology.
As part of my studies, I have received formal training in teaching and education and I have previous experience teaching and tutoring students from a broad range of grade/experience levels.

I have extensive knowledge on biology and physiology and enjoy sharing it to help students succeed!
My teaching style focuses on scaffolding and guided discovery to help students come to real understanding of a topic. I also use a range of memory tools to help encourage information retention so that understanding can persist through tests/quizzes and future classes!
