I am an undergraduate student (focusing on the pre-med track) at the University of Virginia majoring in Chemistry. I have taken these following classes at UVA that are related to chemistry:
1) General Chemistry I and II + labs
2) Organic Chemistry I and II + labs
3) Quantum Mechanics and Thermodynamics + labs
4) Biochemistry for Pre-health

My focus as a tutor is to take complex topics and to make them as simple as can be. Chemistry can be a difficult subject at times, but every concept is able to be understood at a proficient level by being familiar with fundamental principles. Understanding fundamentals and being able to assist in creating a thought process of difficult applications is what I hope to facilitate.
Lesson plans may vary as each individual student is unique. But generally speaking, I would work through topics that you would tell me before our meeting as a first. Then I would discuss the topic with general questions being answered. Following that, I would go over a powerpoint/slide that has personalized questions that emphasize weaker points. Of course, we would go over the questions with their respective answers in full.
Lessons will be made for:
1) Undergraduate students who are taking General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I and II, and Biochemistry.
2) High school students who are taking AP chemistry.
