About Maureen
I’ve been teaching for over 7 years, and have had various experience with folks of all levels. I love to learn as well, so I am always reconnecting with my own teachers to continue to learn so I can best support others that might show up to spaces where I am leading.
I love props as a tool to support, challenge, and create a new sensation in our movement. My primary learning focuses have been biomechanics, inclusivity within yoga spaces, and progressive strength.
I love to give options and have the student make the choice so they can feel autonomy and confidence.

In our time together, we will move with curiosity and explore how shapes, transitions, and challenges arrive in our bodies. My teaching style is explorative and supportive- from basics of alignment to help students feel comfortable in a class to creating a playful time to become more in tune with our connection to our physical body- we’ll spend time moving together to create confidence and fun.
