About Adam

Hello students! My name is Adam and I'm a 6th year medical student at Edinburgh University. I also have a 1st class honours degree in Human Biology. I also volunteer for a children’s charity in hospital and work for the NHS.

About the lesson

I have a unique approach with tutoring, which achieves high grades and is based on years of experience. I tutor through my own company called 1st Degree Educational Services. My approach typically includes providing a free initial assessment which plans lessons according to the students' strengths, weaknesses and learning styles. I then provide extensive learning resources (including recorded lessons), and expert exam preparation, consistently improving students' confidence and understanding. Our maths teachers and tutors practise exam technique and application every session, helping students to gain skills and confidence, with high grades in mock assessments before moving onto other areas. As part of our approach, monthly progress reports are also provided to guide the students' direction for achievement, month by month.
