About Urbi
I'm a 6th form student currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Music for my A Levels.
I achieved all 9s in my 11 GCSEs, so if you need tutoring in any other subjects I'd be happy to help!
I've been mentoring students in my school from Year 9 having tutored in maths and science, and additionally I ran a UKMT club for Year 7s and 8s to help them prepare for the UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge.
I also enjoy playing chess competitively, so I'm free to teach anyone the game!

I think that for maths and the sciences a solid knowledge base is vital for achieving the top grades. I'll test my students using past papers and questions to identify their strengths and weaknesses and then work with them to make sure that they're confident with all aspects of the subject. We can go through the specification topic by topic to ensure that all the knowledge needed is covered.
It's also very important to be able to problem solve and link different topics together, so I will work on harder extension problems as well to stretch my students and promote critical thinking.
