About Wamia
I'm Wamia, I go to Wallington High School for Girls. I'm currently studying Physics, Maths and Philosophy at A level and hope to go on to study Physics with Philosophy at uni.
I love learning about science and enjoy explaining ideas and concepts in the most engaging and concise way possible for more people to learn and grasp science more easily.
I really want the people to properly understand what I teach them and try to put my best effort to give good quality, simple to follow lessons and make hard to understand topics more streamlined.
If asked any questions outside my knowledge or given a difficult exam question to work through, I'm happy to go into my own time to work on the answers and conduct research so I can explain things to my best ability to the student.
I have a flexible schedule and will try to accommodate to any spontaneous lessons if the student needs them.
I just really want the people I teach to come out feeling more satisfied and reassured in their knowledge and always try to help the best I can!
I achieved an '8' grade in Physics, Biology, Chemistry and maths at GCSE so have a good understanding of all of them.

I give 1-2 hour lessons teaching Maths, Physics, Biology or Chemistry. I can teach students at gcse, ks3, 11+ or ks2. I always create lesson plans prior to make most the lesson time. I try to make adequate research on the students specific specification so that my teaching is relevant. I will happy to go through homework or classwork if they are struggling and will try to explain things in thorough detail till they understand what they need. I am happy to commute to the students home for the lesson or for a student to come to mine. I have experience teaching gcse students in the past so I know what to do to help them get top grades. I can also teach 11+ students having sat it myself.
