About Julia

I attended university at University College London (UCL) from 2015-2018, where I spent three years studying English Literature and ultimately writing my dissertation on representations of legal issues in Shakespeare. From there, I began applying for law school, including taking the LSAT twice and earning scores of 168 and 169 respectively. With my scores, I was able to secure multiple full scholarships to top twenty schools as well as a hefty partial scholarship to T-14 law school University of Michigan Law. I started Michigan Law in 2018, where I spent the time putting my writing skills to the test, serving as a Senior Editor on the Michigan Law Journal of Law Reform and writing several wide-ranging papers on a variety of legal issues. Following law school, I clerked for a Federal Judge in the District of Nevada, where I researched, edited, read, and crafted dozens of published legal opinions. I have been living in Nevada tutoring local and online students ever since! For my in-person test takers, I am happy to drive (reasonable) distances across Vegas to wherever you'd like to meet. For my remote students, I have a professional tutoring set-up including a virtual pen pad and whiteboard and several online practice exams. I love classic rock, short stories, going on hikes in the desert, and hanging out with my loved ones. I believe a true education respects the individuality and dignity of each student and cannot be achieved without ensuring every child or adult student is fed, cared for, listened to, and seen.
