About Abby
I am still a student too, so I understand that learning new things can be hard. For example when I was in 7th grade I struggled a lot with history, but I persevered and pushed through. I have tutored middle schoolers before while I was in 8th grade and they have all understood what I taught them. Different people have different abilities, talents, and skills which is what makes them unique. For example I'm good at math, but when it comes to art, it's a mess, but I still try my best. You can do anything you set your mind to.

When a student is struggling with a math problem, firstly, I let the student try the math problem his or herself, and then I help the student with whatever he or she is struggling with in that math problem. If the student really can't do the problem I do an example problem to help him or her understand theproblem. Once the student understands the math problem, I have him or her do a similar problem on his or her own to show his or her understanding. If the student still can't do it on his or her own, I repeat this process until the student understands the math.
