About CHOW
My name is Geraldine Chow, and I am a patient and reliable beginner piano tutor with a strong music background. I hold ABRSM Grade 8 Piano and have developed discipline, consistency and attention to detail through many years of piano training.
I enjoy working with children and helping young learners build confidence in a positive and encouraging environment. I also have experience teaching children as an Art Tutor, where I learned how to explain ideas clearly, prepare activities and support students with different learning speeds.
As a tutor, I believe it is important to be patient, organized and supportive. I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to make lessons clear, enjoyable and suited to each child’s level. My goal is to help beginners feel comfortable with piano, develop good basic skills and enjoy the learning process.

My name is Geraldine Chow, and I teach beginner piano lessons for children and young learners. I hold ABRSM Grade 8 Piano and enjoy helping students build confidence and a love for music in a positive and encouraging way.
My lessons are designed to be patient, fun and structured. I usually begin with the basics, such as finger numbers, hand position, rhythm, note reading and simple songs. I explain each step clearly and adjust my teaching style to suit the student’s age, personality and learning speed.
A typical lesson is 30 minutes or 45 minutes, depending on the student’s level and attention span. My lessons are best suited for children, primary school students and beginner piano learners who are just starting or need extra support with the basics.
Although I am new to formal piano teaching, I have experience teaching children as an Art Tutor, where I learned how to prepare lessons, communicate clearly and support students with patience. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable, confidence-building and easy to understand.
