About Ghadir

I am a PhD holder and university lecturer with extensive experience supervising and mentoring postgraduate students. Having started my own academic journey as an international student, I know first-hand what it means to adapt from one educational system at undergraduate level to the expectations of UK Master’s and PhD programmes. This background allows me to combine academic expertise with genuine empathy for the challenges many students face. Over the years, I have guided Master’s and PhD candidates through the complex process of designing research, developing methodologies, and producing high-quality dissertations and theses within the UK academic system. I take pride in supporting international students in particular, helping them strengthen their academic writing, critical analysis, and research skills while gaining confidence in their abilities. I also keep up to date with the evolving academic landscape, offering guidance on the responsible use of AI tools and academic software for literature reviews, research, and qualitative data analysis. These tools are part of my own day-to-day practice as a lecturer and researcher, which means I can provide students with practical, up-to-date strategies for improving efficiency while maintaining academic integrity and ethical standards. Above all, I am committed to creating a professional, supportive, and motivating learning environment. My aim is not only to help you successfully complete your dissertation or thesis, but also to empower you to grow as a confident, independent researcher.

About the lesson

My approach is centred on academic coaching and mentoring rather than traditional tutoring. I work with Master’s and PhD students who want to strengthen their research and writing while meeting the expectations of the UK university system. Each session is tailored to your stage of study — whether you are defining your research question, planning methodology, developing a literature review, or drafting full chapters. I combine step-by-step guidance, feedback, and questioning techniques to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and progress independently. • Lesson length: Standard 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions available for in-depth chapter feedback or technical guidance. • My background: I am a university lecturer and current PhD researcher with extensive experience supervising postgraduate dissertations. This allows me to combine academic expertise with empathy for the challenges of long-term research projects. • Who my lessons are for: Master’s and PhD students, particularly in business, management, and the social sciences, including international students adapting to UK academic standards. Alongside dissertation and thesis support, I also provide: • Academic writing guidance for international students to improve clarity, critical analysis, and argumentation. • Support on responsible use of AI in research and academia, showing how tools can improve time and quality efficiency while maintaining academic integrity and ethical standards. • Practical guidance in using academic software — from managing literature reviews and reference systems to qualitative data analysis tools. • Accountability and companionship — because a research project can feel isolating, I offer a supportive presence to keep you motivated and on track. My aim is not only to help you complete your dissertation or thesis, but also to equip you with the skills, tools, and confidence to thrive in your academic journey.
