About Fabio
I am an experienced engineer with over 15 years of expertise in education, mentoring, and guiding students at various levels, from high school to university, postgraduate, and adult learners. My tutoring journey began in 2011, following my graduation with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since then, I have refined my skills through both individual and group sessions, often working with up to six students at a time. Even during my Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialisation in energy conversion systems, I continued to refine my tutoring techniques. My passion for teaching took me to China, where I had the opportunity to teach students two core subjects: Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics. In particular, I taught Propulsion Systems and Aerodynamics, as well as Performance Modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics. During this assignment, I successfully conducted technical sessions for a total of 150 students across two classes. This role was part of my contribution to supporting the undergraduate Automotive Engineering programme at Hubei Automotive University, located in Shiyan, China.

I am available for ONLINE SESSIONS. My areas of expertise include: • GENERAL PHYSICS Kinematics: Study of motion, analysing quantities such as position, velocity, acceleration, and time. Focus on Newton’s laws of motion, uniform linear motion (MRU), uniformly accelerated motion (MRUA), and projectile motion. Dynamics: Analysis of the forces causing motion, including Newton’s laws, the second law of motion, and the relationship between force and acceleration. Study of friction forces, centripetal force, and torque. Work and Energy: Concepts of work, kinetic energy, potential energy, work–energy theorem, and conservation of mechanical energy. Conservation Laws: Conservation of momentum, principle of conservation of energy, and applications in isolated systems. • MECHANICS In-depth study of the physical laws governing the motion of objects, including forces, torque, static and dynamic equilibrium. Study of levers, transmission mechanisms, and engineering applications. • ELECTROMAGNETISM Study of electric and magnetic forces and fields, Coulomb’s law, Ampère’s and Faraday’s laws, electric circuits, electromagnetic induction, and electromagnetic waves. Analysis of interactions of moving charged particles. • OPTICS Study of light, reflection, refraction, and scattering, including phenomena related to lenses, image formation, and light dispersion. Wave theory of light with phenomena such as interference, diffraction, and polarisation. • THERMODYNAMICS Study of the fundamental laws governing thermal energy and heat transfer. Analysis of thermodynamic cycles, entropy, heat engines, and the zeroth law of thermodynamics. Understanding energy transformations in physical systems. • FLUID MECHANICS Study of fluids at rest and in motion. Analysis of fluid properties such as density, pressure, viscosity, and flow. Study of the continuity equation, Pascal’s law, Archimedes’ principle, and Bernoulli’s equation. • CONDENSED MATTER PHYSICS Study of the physical properties of solids and liquids, heat transfer mechanisms, thermal conductivity, material efficiency, and semiconductor physics. • MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS Development of the mathematical tools needed to understand and solve equations describing complex physical phenomena, including the analysis of differential equations and Fourier transforms. I understand that every student is unique and has different needs. I put myself in your shoes to teach in a pleasant and stimulating way, answering your questions thoroughly. I am always patient and respectful during our sessions, keeping you actively engaged with theory explanations and practical examples. Together, we can achieve your learning goals. Typically, my sessions are structured as follows: • Explanation of theory and answering questions as they arise • Implementation of practical examples to reinforce concepts • Proactive student engagement through questions and problem reflection • Support in solving problems and reviewing assignments • Preparation of PowerPoint presentations to clarify complex topics and address doubts
