About Paula
I am a teacher/ tutor for 7 yrs, who has always had a love for helping students overcome obstacles in learning. I've had students improve 1-2 grade levels in a short span of time. I believe all students can be successful.

My teaching methodology is to initially see where a student needs help. Then I make sure that the foundation is solid in the subject area before we move forward. I will remediate and use various methods (Tactile, visual, listening) to engage a student in the way that they learn best. I also believe in the power of positive praise for work well done.

Distance beyond a 15 minute time period will incur an additional $5.00 charge. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. I can also meet students at a local library or the clubhouse meeting room where I reside.
