About Anna
I have been teaching all mediums of art for 29 years from my home. I have taught hundreds of students and have helped them reach their goals from painting for pleasure and helping students with their school work to helping with degree work.

When a student comes to me whether a beginner or advanced I like to find out what their aims and interests are. I then tailor the course uniquely for them. Because my groups are small I am able to do this. So I may have a class of five all doing different mediums. If a student has never worked in any medium before or for a long time I will structure a course to suit them. This will usually begin with observational drawing, dealing with negative shapes and spatial awareness. Then learning how to create a good composition towards painting in whatever medium is chosen. The classes are held in my cottage surrounded by my husband's sculptures and my own work. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with soft music in the background and a very laid back greyhound in the corner!

I have known Anna for some years. She is a very supportive art teacher. Her style of teaching brings out individual skills in each student. She has a gentle disposition and provides a wonderful teaching space.
I have been attending Anna's classes for some time and my art work has come on so well with her tuition. With Anna's support I have gained the confidence to go on to larger and more adventurous project. The bonus is also that Anna teaches in all art mediums so you have the chance to experience all forms of art.

Details
£65 for a block of 4 two hour lessons for adults. £58 for a block of 4 two hour lessons for children. 4 weeks payable in advance and then on the last day of each 4 week period. Classes cannot be 'moved on'. However the opportunity to make up time missed can be taken within the 4 week period (i.e. at other classes held during the week). This must also be reciprocated if, for any reason, classes are cancelled by myself.
