About Riya

I am a Physics tutor with over 9 years of dedicated teaching experience and hold an MSc in Applied Physics. My specialty lies in optics and wave phenomena, particularly the study of light, sound, and electromagnetic waves. My students learn not only the theory but also the problem-solving strategies that make these topics manageable. I take pride in teaching core skills like ray tracing, interference, and diffraction in a way that builds both understanding and confidence. I have supported learners working in fields such as photonics, telecommunications, and imaging sciences. These areas rely heavily on wave principles, and I enjoy showing how classroom physics translates to cutting-edge technology. What sets my approach apart is the balance between rigor and accessibility. I break complex topics into clear steps without losing their deeper meaning. My lessons are structured but also flexible, meeting students at their own pace. Physics can seem abstract, but its applications touch every part of our lives. The behavior of waves explains how we hear music, capture images, and transmit information across continents. Helping students see these connections is the greatest joy of my work.

About the lesson

My teaching method makes physics simple by focusing on clear concepts and hands-on examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions and connect what they learn with everyday experiences. Physics becomes less of a challenge and more of a tool for understanding life.

I teach Newtonian mechanics with a focus on forces, motion, and energy conservation. These principles are explained step by step so learners can apply them to both academic tasks and practical situations.

Problem-solving is at the heart of my lessons. Students learn to use laws like Newton’s laws of motion or the principle of conservation of energy to approach problems logically and effectively.

I understand how Career Re-aligners and Theorists learn best. My lessons give them structure and the chance to think deeply while also applying ideas in practical ways.

Above all, my approach aims to make physics enjoyable and accessible. Once learners see the patterns behind motion, forces, and energy, they begin to view the world with new clarity and confidence.
