About Quintessa
I am a passionate violin tutor with 17 years of experience working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Music has always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy sharing that passion with students from all backgrounds.
My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, encouragement, and student-centred learning. I believe that every learner has unique strengths, and I adapt my lessons to support their personal development and musical goals.
Throughout my career, I have helped numerous students improve their performance abilities and gain confidence in their skills. One of my proudest achievements has been helping students develop a lasting appreciation for music and continue learning independently.
My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music while building skills that will stay with them for a lifetime.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to match each student's goals, strengths, and pace of learning. I create a welcoming and encouraging environment where students can learn comfortably and develop confidence.
In violin lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, and music reading. I explain concepts clearly and use practical exercises that help students apply their knowledge effectively. I encourage regular practice and provide continuous guidance to support steady progress.
Besides violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm studies. These related subjects help students improve their overall musical understanding and become more confident performers.
My goal is to help students develop discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
