About TESSA

I am a hardworking and dedicated individual who takes my job seriously and perform my duties to the best of my ability.

I have accumulated over twenty years of experience that is pertinent to this position, in educating and training students. Three of which were spent preparing students at the Grade 11 for examinations in Principles of Accounts and Principles of Business. In addition, I have seventeen years of experience in preparing the financial statements for schools based on the regulations of the Ministry of Education. I have also acquired ten years of experience with the University of the West Indies in tutoring and coordinating two undergraduate level courses – Intermediate Financial Accounting I and Intermediate Financial Accounting II.

About the lesson

❖ Prepare a comprehensive Course Guide including a study schedule for the course.
❖ Prepare in-course assessments with accompanying guidelines and instructions to students in accordance with the institution's regulations.
❖ Use technology supportive of the pedagogy for the course.
❖ Moderate the Discussion Forum by initiating weekly discussion topics in each unit and commenting on discussions posted by students as appropriate.
❖ Facilitate tutor presentations per unit to explain, clarify or discuss selected content in the course material.
❖ Set and provide feedback for the tutorial questions for each of the units of the course.
