About Hamza
I am a Software Developer who recently graduated from Cardiff University in Computer Science with an extensive background in tutoring. I have achieved an A*/A in all of my GCSEs with an A* in Mathematics, and I am ranked in the top 1% of all students who took the American Scholastic Assessment Test in Mathematics. I have experience tutoring students at a variety of ability levels, focusing on the fundamentals as well as exam technique to guarantee results regardless of the questions being asked.

I have a foundational approach to tutoring, focusing on the fundamental roots of problems rather than hastily jumping to the solution. This allows students to understand the background of any given question so they can better devise a solution, and even solve more difficult questions using the same technique, as my approach is chronological. This is especially effective when it comes to the most difficult questions, as this technique can help you discover a solution you may not have thought of initially.
My lessons can range from 45 minutes to an hour and a half depending on the topic and the student's preference, and I like to focus on exam style questions in different formats to ensure that students are aware of the many ways questions can be asked. I also like to focus on exam technique so that habits such as good time management and writing for method marks are followed consistently.
I currently offer online GCSE Mathematics tutoring for Year 10 and Year 11 students, covering all levels and abilities.
