About Errin
Accomplished historian and educator with over a decade's worth of teaching experience in secondary- and college-level courses. I have been teaching history for several years, and have taught all fields of study in both American, European, and World History.
I also taught a private academy and am familiar with state standards and curriculum. I am prepared to assist with AP, Honors, and Core classes.
I am currently finishing my Doctorate in European History and hold several advanced degrees in history as well as other related fields like historical preservation and collections management, as well as online teaching. I am a published historian, I volunteer as a guest lecturer and researcher around the community.

Typically my teaching method applies to the classroom, I have taught multiple subjects in the field, and can handle most questions you throw at me.
I believe that the study of history requires both the knowledge and an understanding of the subject as well applying that information to comprehend larger themes in the field. The study of history is not simply the ability to remember dates and names; it requires many skills that can be applied in other disciplines.
In an online environment, the study of history should incorporate the same ideals: critical thinking; discussion; and the ability to demonstrate comprehension.
